What better to start this off than by telling y’all what* I used to create this website.
(*Please note that most if not all the links on this page will be Affiliate links)
First I used NameCheap to purchase a domain name.
This WordPress website was initiated by creating a new install on WPEngine.com. WP Engine makes setting up new WordPress installs easy peasy!
I receive an email a few minutes later with a link to reset the password. After using the reset password link, I log into the WordPress Admin Dashboard and installed the following Themes:
Cobalt Dynamik (Genesis child theme)
After activating the Dynamik child theme, imported Cobalt’s Freshly Skin. (Cobalt Skins are like child themes).
Cobalt Dynamik adds backend theme change options that normally would need to be done via CSS coding with Genesis.
After I had the themes setup I installed the Beaver Builder Pro Page Builder Plugin
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
In future posts I will go into more details about how I setup the major parts of this site such as the theme and using the page builder.
